QuoteVet Doc. TS-1 Rev. October 19, 2026 Sheet 1 of 1

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of quotevet.com and the QuoteVet service, whether you are a homeowner buying a project or a contractor receiving outreach. Read section 3 and sections 18 through 21 carefully — they limit what QuoteVet is responsible for.

Read first

QuoteVet is not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, or warrant any home improvement work. We contact contractors on your behalf, collect their quotes, and analyze those quotes for you. Any work you have done is a contract between you and that contractor, and we are not a party to it.

What we guarantee is outreach, not quotes. We guarantee that we will contact the number of contractors in your plan. We cannot guarantee that any contractor will respond, provide a quote, or agree to do your project. If few contractors serve your kind of project in your area, we tell you before checkout and you can choose to go ahead as a Limited-coverage Project, where we contact every suitable contractor we find instead. See section 7.

Agreement to these terms

1.1

QuoteVet, LLC is a Minnesota limited liability company ("QuoteVet," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and QuoteVet governing your access to and use of quotevet.com, its subdomains, and all related services, communications, and content (together, the "Service").

1.2

By using the Service, submitting a coverage check, completing a purchase, responding to outreach from us, creating an account, or otherwise interacting with the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.3

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and explains how we collect, use, and disclose information.

1.4

If you agree to these Terms on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to both you and that entity.

2

Definitions

2.1
Homeowner
A person who submits a project through the Service in order to receive quotes, whether or not they have purchased a plan.
Contractor
An independent home services business or tradesperson we contact, or that contacts us, in connection with a Project. Contractors are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of QuoteVet.
Project
A home improvement or repair job a Homeowner submits through the Service.
Outreach
A good-faith attempt by QuoteVet to reach a Contractor about a Project by email, telephone, or another channel, as further described in section 7.2.
Quote
A price estimate or proposal a Contractor provides for a Project, including any document, message, or verbal figure we record, and including an Estimate.
Estimate
A price or price range a Contractor gives for a Project without having visited the property. An Estimate is a Quote for the purposes of these Terms, but it is a preliminary figure that the Contractor may revise after seeing the job.
Photo and Video Estimate
A Project on which the Homeowner has told us they do not want site visits, so Contractors are asked to price it from Project Media alone.
Quote Analysis
The automated summary, score, and commentary the Service generates about a Quote.
Project Media
Photographs of a Project, and a short walkthrough video of it, that a Homeowner uploads through the Service. Media is optional on a Project with home visits and required on a Photo and Video Estimate. Earlier revisions of these Terms called this "Project Photos."
Plan
The Standard or Premium package a Homeowner purchases, as described at the point of sale.
Limited-coverage Project
A Project the Homeowner chose to proceed with after we said, before checkout, that few businesses appear to offer that kind of work near the Project location. Section 7.7 governs it.
3

What QuoteVet is — and is not

3.1

We are an intermediary. QuoteVet is an information and coordination service. We contact Contractors on a Homeowner's behalf, arrange appointments, collect Quotes, and provide automated analysis of those Quotes. That is the entirety of what we do.

3.2

We are not a contractor. QuoteVet does not perform, bid on, manage, supervise, inspect, or warrant any home improvement, construction, repair, or maintenance work. We do not hold contractor licenses. We do not furnish labor or materials.

3.3

No agency or employment. Contractors are independent third parties. No agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or employment relationship exists between QuoteVet and any Contractor. We do not control, direct, or have the right to control any Contractor's work, pricing, scheduling, personnel, or business practices. No Contractor is authorized to make any representation, promise, or commitment on QuoteVet's behalf.

3.4

No endorsement or recommendation. Inclusion of a Contractor in outreach, appearance of a Quote in your results, and any score or ranking produced by the Service are not endorsements, referrals, recommendations, certifications, or guarantees of any Contractor's licensing, insurance, bonding, qualifications, competence, honesty, safety record, workmanship, or fitness for your Project.

3.5

We do not verify licensing or insurance. We ask Contractors directly about their state license, general liability insurance, workers compensation coverage, and use of subcontractors, and we record and display their answers. Those answers are statements made by the Contractor. We do not obtain certificates of insurance, and we do not query state licensing boards or verify the answers with any issuing authority. Anything shown to you about a Contractor's credentials is what that Contractor told us, not something we have confirmed.

3.6

Your contract is with the Contractor. If you engage a Contractor, that agreement is solely between you and the Contractor. QuoteVet is not a party to it, does not receive a commission on it, has no obligations under it, and has no responsibility for its performance, quality, timeliness, cost, safety, permitting, or outcome — or for any dispute, damage, injury, loss, lien, or claim arising from it.

3.7

Your own diligence is required. Before hiring anyone, you are responsible for independently verifying licensing, insurance, bonding, references, permits, and any other qualification that matters to you, and for reading and understanding any contract you sign. Nothing in the Service replaces that responsibility. We recommend confirming license status directly with your state or municipal licensing authority.

3.8

Not professional advice. The Service, including any Quote Analysis, is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, financial, insurance, engineering, architectural, appraisal, code compliance, or construction advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting a licensed professional.

3.9

We do not verify values information either. Where you select Values Preferences under section 6.5, we research each Contractor using publicly available sources and show you what we found, with the sources we relied on. That research describes businesses, is drawn from public material that may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and is not confirmed with the Contractor or with any authority. A label such as "no outside owner found" means only that our research found no evidence of outside ownership, not that none exists. Values information is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee, and section 3.4 applies to it in full.

4

Eligibility

4.1

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is offered only in the United States and is not directed to anyone outside it.

4.2

By submitting a Project, you represent that you own the property or are otherwise authorized to arrange the work and to invite Contractors to it, and that the information you provide about the property and the Project is accurate.

4.3

Coverage and availability vary. Passing a coverage check is not a promise that any particular Contractor, price, timeline, or result will be available for your Project.

5

Accounts and security

5.1

Some features require an account secured by a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.

5.2

Use a password you do not use anywhere else. Notify us at support@quotevet.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5.3

Do not share your account, sell access to it, or let anyone else use it. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are compromised or misused.

6

The service

6.1

In general, the Service works like this:

  • You describe your Project and location, tell us whether you are open to home visits, and we check whether we can serve it.
  • You choose a Plan.
  • If you are open to home visits, you give us availability windows and may optionally attach Project Media. If you choose a Photo and Video Estimate, you must upload at least four photographs and one walkthrough video of up to 60 seconds before checkout, and no visits are scheduled.
  • You complete checkout.
  • We identify Contractors who appear suited to the Project and contact them on your behalf by email and, in some cases, by telephone using an AI voice agent.
  • On a Project with home visits, we coordinate scheduling, including site visits where a Contractor requires one, using the availability windows you provided.
  • We collect Quotes that Contractors return and make them available to you.
  • We generate an automated analysis of each Quote to help you compare them.
6.2

We may change, add, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will not materially reduce what a Plan you have already paid for delivers without offering you a refund under section 9.

6.3

Projects close automatically six weeks after purchase. After a Project closes we stop conducting outreach for it and we tell you where it got to. Access to Quotes already collected continues for the retention period described in our Privacy Policy. Project Media is deleted when the Project closes.

6.4

The Service depends on third-party platforms, on Contractors' willingness to respond, and on information Contractors provide. Interruptions, delays, and unavailability can occur, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6.5

Values Preferences (Premium Plan). On the Premium Plan you may optionally tell us what kind of business you would like us to approach — for example independently owned rather than owned by a franchise, a national chain, or a private equity group; family-owned; employee-owned; based near you; ten or more years in business; a single-location business; a union contractor; or a business holding trade or manufacturer certifications (together, "Values Preferences").

Where you select Values Preferences, then before Outreach begins we research each candidate Contractor using publicly available sources — company websites, press releases, business directories, and business profiles — with automated tools that include artificial intelligence. We use what we find to decide which Contractors to approach and to label them for you, and we keep and display the sources behind each label.

Values Preferences never involve personal characteristics. QuoteVet does not request, collect, infer, record, or use the race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, national origin, age, or veteran status of any Contractor's owners or employees, and no Values Preference is based on any of them.

6.6

Photo and Video Estimates. When you tell us you do not want home visits, we ask Contractors to price your Project from your Project Media instead of visiting. Before you choose this, understand what it changes:

  • Fewer replies. Many Contractors will not price work they have not seen. A Contractor who declines for that reason still counts as an Outreach under section 7.2, and we do not guarantee that any Contractor will provide an Estimate from media alone.
  • An Estimate is not a firm price. Figures given from photographs and video are preliminary. A Contractor may revise an Estimate after seeing the job, may require a site visit before giving a firm Quote or committing to the work, or may attach conditions to it. Nothing about an Estimate binds a Contractor to perform the work at that figure.
  • Your media does the talking. Contractors can only price what they can see and hear. Section 12.1 applies with extra force: an incomplete or unclear walkthrough is the most common reason an Estimate differs from the eventual Quote.
  • No visits are scheduled. We do not collect availability windows or arrange appointments on a Photo and Video Estimate. If you later want to allow visits, email support@quotevet.com and we will tell you what is possible for your Project.

Sections 3.4 through 3.8 apply to Estimates exactly as they apply to any other Quote.

7

Our guarantee

7.1

What is guaranteed is the number of Contractors we contact, not the number of Quotes you receive. Under the Standard Plan we will conduct Outreach to 8 Contractors. Under the Premium Plan we will conduct Outreach to 20 Contractors. Those numbers are the guarantee in full.

7.2

An Outreach is counted when we send an initial message or place an initial call to a Contractor about your Project through a channel that does not immediately fail. A Contractor who does not answer, declines, does not return a Quote, or stops responding still counts as an Outreach, because the effort on our side has been made.

7.3

We do not guarantee, and cannot guarantee, that any Contractor will respond, provide a Quote, price a Photo and Video Estimate without seeing the property, appear for an appointment, offer a competitive price, remain available, or agree to perform your Project. We do not guarantee any specific number of Quotes, any price range, any timeline, or any outcome.

7.4

Except for a Limited-coverage Project under section 7.7, if too few suitable Contractors exist for your Project or location for us to meet the guaranteed Outreach count, we will tell you and refund you in full under section 9.2.

7.5

Open beta ended. The open beta described in earlier revisions of these Terms ended on the effective date of this revision. Section 7.1 applies in full to every Project purchased on or after that date.

7.6

Values Preferences change who, not how many. Values Preferences selected under section 6.5 affect which Contractors we approach and the order in which we approach them. They do not change the Outreach count in section 7.1. Where fewer Contractors appear to match your preferences than your Plan's Outreach count, we complete the count with other suitable Contractors rather than reducing it. We do not guarantee that any Contractor we contact matches any preference you selected.

7.7

Limited-coverage Projects. Sometimes our estimates show that few businesses offer your kind of Project near your location, or we do not have enough information to estimate it. When that happens we tell you before checkout, and you may choose to proceed with a Limited-coverage Project. If you do, and you accept these Terms at checkout, the following replaces the Outreach count in section 7.1 for that Project: we will conduct Outreach to every suitable Contractor we identify, up to the number in your Plan.

If we identify fewer than 3 suitable Contractors, we will close the Project, tell you, and refund you in full. If we identify 3 or more, your Plan is delivered once we have completed Outreach to all of them, and completing fewer Outreaches than the number in your Plan does not entitle you to a refund under section 9.2.

8

Fees and payment

8.1

Plan prices are shown at the point of sale. As of the effective date of these Terms, the Standard Plan is $99 and the Premium Plan is $149, each a one-time charge for a single Project.

8.2

No subscription and no auto-renewal. We do not enroll you in a recurring plan, do not renew automatically, and do not reuse your payment method for a later charge without a new purchase you initiate.

8.3

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe's checkout is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

8.4

You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Prices may change prospectively; a change never affects a Plan you have already purchased.

8.5

Contractors pay nothing. We do not charge Contractors a fee, a lead cost, a commission, or a percentage of any job. Contractors owe us nothing for receiving Outreach, submitting a Quote, or winning work.

8.6

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, contact us first at support@quotevet.com. We would rather resolve it directly. We may suspend the Service for an account with an unresolved chargeback.

8.7

Beta pricing (historical). Projects started during the open beta, which ended on the effective date of this revision, were provided at no charge. The prices in 8.1 apply to every Project purchased on or after that date.

9

Refunds

9.1

You may cancel for a full refund at any time before we begin Outreach on your Project. Email support@quotevet.com.

9.2

Guarantee refund. Except as provided in section 7.7 for a Limited-coverage Project, if we do not complete Outreach to the number of Contractors in your Plan, you get a full refund. We issue it within 5 business days of identifying the shortfall; you do not have to ask.

9.3

After Outreach is complete. Once we have completed the guaranteed Outreach, the Plan has been delivered and no refund is automatic, including where Contractors did not respond or did not provide Quotes. That is the nature of an outreach guarantee: we control whether we make the attempt, not whether an independent business replies.

9.4

That said, if you are unhappy with your experience, write to us. We review refund requests case by case and grant them at our discretion.

9.5

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Payment processing fees are not returned to us by our processor and are not part of a refund. Allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear.

9.6

Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.

9.7

Beta Projects (historical). No fee was charged for a Project started during the open beta, so there is nothing to refund on it and sections 9.1 through 9.3 do not apply to it. You may ask us to stop work on such a Project at any time by emailing support@quotevet.com, and we will.

10

Artificial intelligence features

10.1

The Service uses artificial intelligence in several places: matching Contractors to Projects, classifying and routing incoming messages, coordinating scheduling, placing and answering telephone calls through AI voice agents, and generating Quote Analysis.

10.2

Our voice agents identify themselves as AI. When an AI voice agent places or answers a call, it discloses at the start of the call that it is an automated assistant acting on behalf of QuoteVet.

10.3

AI output can be wrong. Automated systems misread documents, miss context, misclassify messages, and produce confident statements that are inaccurate. Quote Analysis — including any score, ranking, summary, concern, or suggested question — is a machine-generated aid to comparison, not a professional opinion, an audit, a verification, or a recommendation.

10.4

Always read the underlying Quote yourself. Where analysis and the Contractor's actual Quote conflict, the Contractor's Quote governs. Do not rely on Quote Analysis as the sole basis for hiring anyone or spending money.

10.5

Content you submit and messages exchanged through the Service may be processed by third-party AI providers to deliver these features. See our Privacy Policy.

10.6

Values research is automated too. The research behind Values Preferences (section 6.5) is produced by automated systems reading public web pages, and section 10.3 applies to it. It can confuse two similarly named businesses, miss a change of ownership, or repeat an error published elsewhere. Treat it as a starting point for questions you ask the Contractor yourself, not as a finding of fact.

11

Calls, messages, and recording

11.1

Calls are recorded. Telephone calls placed by QuoteVet, and calls you place to QuoteVet, are recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, accuracy of Quote capture, dispute resolution, training, and record keeping. Our voice agents state this at the start of the call. If you do not consent to being recorded, tell us so, end the call, and contact us at support@quotevet.com instead — we will work with you by email.

11.2

Email. By using the Service you agree to receive service-related email about your Project, including outreach status, scheduling, Quotes, and account notices. These are transactional messages and are not marketing.

11.3

We route replies through project-specific addresses so that messages attach to the correct Project. Messages you send to those addresses are stored as part of the Project record.

11.4

Marketing email is separate. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect transactional messages about an active Project.

11.5

Stopping calls. Any Contractor or Homeowner may ask us to stop calling, stop emailing, or stop contacting them entirely, by telling an agent on a call or by writing to support@quotevet.com. We honor those requests and record them. See section 13.5.

11.6

Electronic communications. You consent to receive notices, agreements, and disclosures from us electronically, and you agree that electronic delivery satisfies any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

11.7

SMS program. QuoteVet operates a text message program called QuoteVet appointment notifications. Enrollment is optional. You are enrolled only if you enter a mobile number and check the SMS consent box during scheduling. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, and declining does not affect your Project in any way.

11.8

What we send. Appointment confirmations, scheduling changes, and reschedule links relating to your own Project. These are transactional messages. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not text Contractors sourced from public listings.

11.9

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies by Project: typically a confirmation, a reminder and any day-of updates for each scheduled visit, plus an occasional check-in about your availability. Message and data rates may apply. QuoteVet does not charge you for text messages; your mobile carrier may.

11.10

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or write to support@quotevet.com. Opting out of text messages does not stop transactional email about an active Project.

11.11

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and network conditions, none of which we control.

11.12

Your number. You may enroll only a mobile number you are authorized to use. If that number is reassigned or you stop using it, tell us at support@quotevet.com so we can stop messaging it.

12

Terms for homeowners

12.1

Describe your Project accurately and completely. Quotes are only as good as the information behind them, and material omissions are the most common reason a Quote changes after a site visit — or, on a Photo and Video Estimate, the reason an Estimate differs from the price you are eventually offered.

12.2

If you provide availability windows, you are responsible for being present or arranging access during a window a Contractor books. Repeated missed appointments may result in a Contractor withdrawing, and do not extend the guarantee or entitle you to a refund.

12.3

You control who enters your property and who you hire. You are responsible for your own safety and for securing valuables, pets, and hazards during any visit.

12.4

You may negotiate directly with any Contractor and hire whomever you like, including a Contractor you found elsewhere. We do not take a commission and we do not require that you hire anyone.

12.5

Do not use the Service to solicit Contractors for anything other than a genuine Project, to gather competitive pricing intelligence, or to obtain Quotes you have no intention of considering.

12.6

Project Media. On a Project with home visits, uploading Project Media (photographs, a walkthrough video, or both) is optional. On a Photo and Video Estimate, at least four photographs and one walkthrough video of up to 60 seconds are required, and the Project cannot proceed to checkout without them. Whenever you upload Project Media:

  • You confirm that you have the right to share it, and you grant QuoteVet permission to store it and to make it available to the Contractors matched to your Project for the purpose of preparing a Quote or Estimate.
  • You agree not to upload images or footage containing documents, financial or payment details, identification, passwords, or other people — their image, likeness, or voice — without their permission. A walkthrough video records sound as well as pictures. Film the work, not the household.
  • Contractors see Project Media before we share your street address. Do not show house numbers, mail, street signs, or license plates, and do not say your address or full name aloud while recording. We remove hidden metadata (below); we cannot remove what is visible or audible in the footage itself.
  • You understand that Project Media is shown to independent third-party Contractors, that a Contractor may download the video to watch it on their own device, and that once a Contractor has viewed or downloaded an item we cannot control whether they retain a copy of it. Section 3.3 applies: Contractors are not our agents.
  • We remove embedded metadata — including location, device, and timestamp data — from every image on upload and from every video on our servers before it is stored. We do not edit the pictures, footage, or audio. See section 2.6 of our Privacy Policy.
  • We may decline to share, or may remove, any submitted image or video at our discretion, including where it appears to contain information that should not be sent to a stranger.
  • You may ask us to delete your Project Media at any time without affecting the rest of your Project. On a Photo and Video Estimate, deleting it may leave Contractors unable to price the job, and it does not extend the guarantee or entitle you to a refund.
12.7

Values Preferences. Selecting preferences under section 6.5 is optional, and the Service works the same without them. If you do select them, you accept that the information behind them comes from public sources, is not verified by us, and can be out of date by the time you read it — ownership changes are not always announced. Section 3.7 still applies: if how a business is owned matters to your decision, ask the Contractor directly before you hire them.

12.8

What you share with Contractors on a Project. When you do any of the following on your project page, QuoteVet shares it with every Contractor on that Project, including Contractors we reach out to later:

  • update your Project scope;
  • answer a Contractor's question;
  • upload a document.

These posts don't carry your name, email, or phone number. We also automatically remove phone numbers, email addresses, and links from scope text, answers, and document labels.

We don't review the contents of files you upload. Photos and video are cleaned of location data before they're shared. PDFs, Word files, and spreadsheets are shared exactly as you upload them, so please check that they don't include anything you don't want Contractors to see.

You can remove a document at any time, and Contractors lose access to it right away. A Contractor may already have saved a copy before you removed it.

You can update your scope up to three times per Project. Quotes received before an update stay on your dashboard, labeled with the version of the scope they were priced against. See section 6.8 of our Privacy Policy.

13

Terms for contractors

13.1

This section applies to you if you receive Outreach from QuoteVet, submit a Quote, opt in through our contractor form, or otherwise participate as a Contractor. Sections 1 through 11 and 14 through 25 apply to you as well.

13.2

Participation is free and voluntary. There is no fee, no lead charge, no commission, and no obligation to respond to any Outreach or to submit any Quote.

13.3

Your representations. By submitting a Quote or accepting an appointment you represent that: you are authorized to bind your business; the business information you give us is accurate and current; you hold every license, registration, permit, bond, and insurance policy that applicable law requires for the work you are quoting; and the Quote is a genuine offer you are prepared to honor on its stated terms.

13.4

License to use your Quote. You grant QuoteVet a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store your Quote and related communications, to transmit them to the Homeowner for the Project, to process them through automated analysis, and to use them in de-identified and aggregated form to improve the Service. You retain ownership of your Quote.

13.5

Opting out. You may tell us to stop contacting you at any time, by replying to any message, telling an agent on a call, using an opt-out link, or writing to support@quotevet.com. We will flag your business as do-not-contact and exclude it from future Outreach. Allow a short processing period for messages already in flight.

13.6

Project Media shown to you. Where a Homeowner has attached photographs or a walkthrough video, we may give you a private link to view them. That link is issued to your business alone. Do not forward it, publish it, or share it outside your business. You may download the video from that page to watch it on your own device. Use the photographs and video only to prepare a Quote or Estimate for that Project, do not redistribute them, and delete any copy when you are no longer quoting the job. Links expire, and we may revoke yours at any time.

Photo and Video Estimates. Where the Homeowner has asked for pricing without a site visit, you are free to decline to price the job unseen. If you do give a figure, say whether it is an Estimate subject to a visit or a firm Quote, and state any conditions. We tell Homeowners that figures given from media alone are preliminary; please do not let one become a dispute later by leaving that unsaid.

13.7

Your dealings with the Homeowner. Any contract, work, payment, warranty, or dispute between you and a Homeowner is entirely between the two of you. QuoteVet is not a party, is not a guarantor of payment, and is not responsible for either side's performance.

13.8

Do not use Homeowner information received through the Service for any purpose other than responding to the Project it relates to. Do not sell, rent, or transfer it, and do not add Homeowners to marketing lists without their separate consent.

13.9

We may decline to include, or may remove, any Contractor from the Service at any time, including for inaccurate information, unresponsiveness, complaints, or conduct we consider harmful to Homeowners.

13.10

Information we may show about how your business is owned and run. Where a Homeowner has selected Values Preferences, we may record and display publicly available information about your business — whether it appears to be independently owned or part of a franchise, chain, or private equity group, the parent company where there is one, the year it was founded, the number of locations, union affiliation, and trade or manufacturer certifications — alongside the sources we relied on. We do not record or use any of the personal characteristics listed in section 6.5. If something is wrong or out of date, email support@quotevet.com and we will correct it, and we will remove it entirely if you ask.

14

Quote documents, project media, and access links

14.1

Quote documents are stored securely and made available through links that contain a unique access token. Anyone who has the link can open the document. Treat these links like a password.

14.2

You are responsible for keeping your links private. Do not forward them, post them publicly, or share them on a device or account others can access. We are not responsible for access that results from a link you shared or exposed.

14.3

Do not attempt to guess, enumerate, modify, or reverse engineer access tokens, or to access any document that is not yours.

14.4

If you believe a link has been exposed, tell us at support@quotevet.com and we will invalidate it.

14.5

Media links. Project Media — photographs and any walkthrough video — is shared with Contractors through the same kind of tokenized link, with two differences: each Contractor receives a link unique to their business, and media links expire 45 days after Outreach begins. We can revoke an individual Contractor's media link without affecting anyone else's. Sections 14.2 and 14.3 apply to media links as well.

15

Acceptable use

15.1

You agree not to:

  • break any law, or use the Service to facilitate anything unlawful;
  • submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate anyone;
  • submit a Project for a property you neither own nor are authorized to arrange work on;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data, or use bots or automated means to access the Service, except a well-behaved search engine crawler;
  • copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, probe, scan, or test the security of the Service or attempt to bypass any access control;
  • interfere with the Service or overload our infrastructure or that of our providers;
  • upload malware, or content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringing;

  • use the Service or its output to train a competing model or build a competing dataset.
15.2

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and report conduct to law enforcement.

16

Intellectual property

16.1

The Service and everything in it — software, text, illustrations, figures, layout, design, and the QuoteVet name and marks — are owned by QuoteVet or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

16.2

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including Project Media. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and transmit it as needed to operate and improve the Service, including in de-identified and aggregated form. We do not use your Project Media for marketing or promotion.

16.3

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit what you submit and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

16.4

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction, attribution, or compensation.

16.5

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to support@quotevet.com identifying the work, the material, your contact information, and the statements the DMCA requires.

17

Third-party services

17.1

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, automation, email delivery, telephony, AI processing, and payments. Their availability and performance are outside our control.

17.2

The Service may link to third-party websites, including Contractor websites. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, practices, or policies. Your dealings with them are your own.

18

Disclaimer of warranties

18.1

The service, including all content, quotes, quote analysis, scores, matching, scheduling, and communications, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteVet disclaims all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

QuoteVet does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that any defect will be corrected; that any information, quote, score, or analysis is accurate, complete, current, or reliable; that any contractor is licensed, insured, bonded, qualified, available, honest, or suitable; or that any project will be quoted, scheduled, performed, or completed.

18.2

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

19

Limitation of liability

19.1

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteVet and its owner, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, use, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to the service, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

QuoteVet will not be liable for any act, omission, delay, defect, damage, injury, loss, cost overrun, lien, code violation, or dispute arising from work performed or not performed by any contractor, or from any agreement between you and a contractor.

QuoteVet's total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid QuoteVet in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100).

19.2

These limits are an essential part of the bargain between us and apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

20

Indemnification

20.1

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QuoteVet and its owner and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, any content you submit, or any dispute between you and a Contractor or Homeowner.

20.2

We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate.

21

Governing law and disputes

21.1

Talk to us first. Before filing anything, send a written description of your dispute and the relief you want to support@quotevet.com. Most problems can be solved in an email. Please allow 30 days.

21.2

Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable United States federal law.

21.3

Venue. You and QuoteVet consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Ramsey County, Minnesota, and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum. This does not prevent either of us from bringing an individual claim in a small claims court with jurisdiction.

21.4

Class action waiver. You and QuoteVet each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. No court may consolidate claims of more than one person without the written consent of all parties.

Jury trial waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and QuoteVet each waive any right to a trial by jury.

21.5

Time limit. Any claim relating to the Service must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, except where applicable law prohibits shortening the limitations period.

21.6

If any part of section 21.4 is found unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest of this section remains in effect.

22

Changes to these terms

22.1

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the revision date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give reasonable advance notice by email or an on-site notice.

22.2

Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service. Changes never apply retroactively to a Plan you already purchased.

23

Term and termination

23.1

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop at any time, and may ask us to close your account by writing to support@quotevet.com.

23.2

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate a paid Project for a reason other than your breach, we will refund it.

23.3

Sections 3, 8, 9, 10, 12.6, 12.7, 13.4, 13.6, 13.10, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 24 survive termination.

24

General provisions

24.1

Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and QuoteVet about the Service and supersede any prior understanding on the subject.

24.2

Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the rest remains in force.

24.3

No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

24.4

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

24.5

Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, outages, provider failures, labor disruptions, and government action.

24.6

No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms create no rights in anyone other than you and QuoteVet.

24.7

Notices. We may give notice by email to the address on your account or by posting on the Service. Notices to us go to support@quotevet.com or the mailing address in section 25.

24.8

Headings. Section titles are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
